Clutch shopping

I desperately need an evening clutch - for weddings and dinners.

I do have one in closet, bought two years ago and I've been wearing it to most weddings that now, it becomes pretty boring. And I did buy the Topshop clutches last month but I don't think it's elegant enough to wear for weddings. They are too casual and leathery (is that even a word?).

I got two weddings to attend this weekend and more to come by the end of the month, so I must get it before Friday at least. How hard could it be right?

I searched for a decent one today at Pavillion, yet the only clutch that suit my taste was a simple black satin clutch by Forever21 priced at 59 bucks. Although it sounds like a plain choice, I bought it still incase I don't have time to find better one by the end of the week. I did saw selection of blink blink wedding clutches at Tangs but my only concern is they seemed too flashy for me. Or is that how wedding clutch supposed to look like? Seriously, I have no idea!

Does anyone know where I can find a decent, beautiful wedding clutch priced below 200?

Anyway, these are clutches I would die to have but of course, exceptionally overpriced.

By the way, I spotted something similar to Anya's at MNG but it's in neon. Very striking!

Things to buy with bonus money

The result was in, I'm save from the retrenchment. Alhamdulillah. Since then, I've been counting days for the bonus payment, which I have no clue when. Hopefully by end of this month though.

While waiting for that other good news, I made a list of things to do with the money. Things I wish to get.

1. LV Damier Azur or Damier Canvas Speedy 30
Ok, I love the Azur for like forever. It's my dream bag. But it's soft color, which of course hard to maintain - which might be the main reason why more people prefer the latter than the former. I still prefer Azur though but I've seen too much of Canvas lately that I'm torn between these two. But I got plenty of time to decide. Hopefully when the time comes, I'll be able to make my own decision and make sure I really BUY it!

2. Wallet
I've been using the same wallet for 5 years now and it became impractical these days when I have so much to stuff in - business cards, discount cards, credit cards, coins. So I need bigger space and I found some on internet but super pricey for my taste. What I really want is something like Bottega Veneta Woven Zip-Around Wallet or Gucci Continental Wallet. Like a zippy wallet kind of thing. I'm still searching for a nice, affordable one though.

3. A Topshop clutch (maybe both)

4. Tissot watch

Warehouse sales

I always had a bad luck when it comes to warehouse sale. The FJ Benjamin sale I attended last year was a disaster. I queued for half an hour, the hall was jam-packed with people trying to grab everything they could and none of the items were in size S and 5/37. They should put that in the ad!

The second one was Dior Cosmetics Warehouse Sale but that one didn't turned out great either. I shouldn't have come at the first place anyway.

So, last Thursday when I read about another warehouse sale, I wasn't thrilled at all. I bet this one would be just like any other, disappointing. But when I told Danielle during lunch, she got really excited and really eager to go. And she's not going alone so I have to go with her. Well, not really "have to". I actually read somewhere that this sale has the Burberry London I always wanted for only RM120 (100ml)! They also got SJP Lovely 50ml for RM70, when I paid like RM190 last time.

So yes, that got me excited. And it was even better when we reached there, the place was not packed yet. Just like I always want a warehouse sale to be. Everything was 50-70% off and they offered good brands as well - Burberry, Hermes, Ferragamo, JPG, Guerlain, Bvlgari, Marc Jacobs, SJP etc. But since I only went on their 3rd and very last day, most of the best stuff were gone already. Lovely sold out, Burberry Brit Sheer gone. But still, I managed to grab Burberry London (100ml - RM120), Guerlain Insolense (2X30ml - RM90) and Ferregamo Incanto Heaven (100ml - RM120).

I don't think I'll ever buy perfume at the counter anymore!

Weekend on February

12:25 AM: Still frustrated that Shopaholic is not out yet!

11:00 AM: Watched Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

VickyChristinaBarcelona

12:30 PM: I still don't get why this movie won Best Picture Musical/Comedy for Golden Globe. Is it because of the girl on girl kiss? But I love the cinematography. Showing the beautiful side of Barcelona and another place I don't know in Spain. Gorgeous!

01:00 PM: Out to lunch and we both discussed why on earth we didn't go to Spain during our studies.

01:30 PM: Off to Soho KL to check out Bijou Bazaar. So excited!

02:00 PM: Arrived at Soho KL. The place is huge! And the bazaar was nice. There were vintage stuff everywhere - cool sunglasses, belt and shirts. Yet the husband was rushing to go home. He used his usual excuse, sakit perut. I hate it when he rushes me while I'm looking through stuff. By the way, I met Yuna. Dia senyum, I should have asked for her EP.

03:30 PM: Reached home. Still frustrated about the Bijou Bazaar. I went home empty handed.

05:00 PM: Need to wake husband up. We're going back to Seremban. He's off to Kuching for a week. I'm going to miss him terribly :(.

Happy weekend everyone!

Mess

I'm such a mess.

None of wedding dresses are ready yet.

I'm getting bored of work already.

Everything needs to be done before Raya as I am going to India for 2 weeks next month - Bosan!

The to-do list is getting longer each day. Benci!

I still could not get my hand on iPhone. I want it so bad, sampai termimpi-mimpi.

Haaaaiiiiiihhhhhhhhh.

On track

Don't you hate it when you snatched up something so fancy, but have to wait for another 5 months to wear it? Heck, I do!

I didn't expect the mood for wedding shopping would kick off this soon. Yet the clearance sale is so tempting! How could I ever resist that?

So here I am, staring at the same paper bag, gently put it on for a few seconds and then, pack it back into the bag, where it belongs. It happened everyday now and will be until the big day! I know! I hate it too! My fiancé is just mean for making me do it! Ok, that's overstating. But, it was his idea to have it as one of the hantaran! Although... I might be the one who negotiated it with him at the first place. I shouldn't have made that promise. Bad idea!

On the other hand, good news for mom, I am officially back on track with the wedding plan. You know, since I was pretty occupied purchasing something else months back. Anyway, I'm more ecstatic now than ever. So it's all good, I guess. I get to shop around for it, what's not to like?

Still, I have a long list to do. I haven't decided on what color to wear. I haven't chosen which bridal boutique to book for the dress and pelamin. I still don't have any official photographer. I bought only one of the hantaran but still lots of shopping NEED to be done(I love it when shopping is a necessity. Heheh).

To summarize, I basically haven't done anything yet. Zilch. Mom freaked out a bit, as always. Pressuring me to start on at least something but I still think we got plenty of time to arrange those. No worries.

I'm thinking of putting together my own wedding binder just like this.

Like I would ever had time to do that!Tapi cute kan!

Wish list: Louis Vuitton Watercolor Speedy

louis-vuitton-watercolor-speedy

Ok, I know this is so out of my league but still, wish list can be anything right? At least that what my wish list is. Plus, I haven't been updating the list since January so if you ask what I want, I want this.

Cloud 9

I am utterly surprise, ecstatic, thrilled, nervous, exhausted, stressed out and worried - all at the same time! And it drives me crazy that I have to keep my mouth shut at least for the next few weeks, until everything is almost over.

But, at least I can do what I love to do the most, all those coming weekends - Shopping :P.

Happy weekend!

iTunes: Untuk Pertama Kali - Kerispatih

Life has been better since Wednesday as the silent treatment was finally over. Thank God.

Although, the splurging is still going strong as ever.

Today, we strolled along Jalan Telawi, Bangsar and that place can be like heaven once in a while. Particularly, bila gaji baru masuk! And if you asked me, it's definitely worth every penny. And time. And energy, climbing those stairs. I know... I never ever going to be the best window shopper. EVER.

2008 Wish list (so far)

iTunes: Bubbly - Colbie Caillat

My oh my.

I've been splurging like there's no tomorrow, this past two months. It didn't occur to me that much, not until I realized I have bought a rack of shoes, totes, tops and pants for less than 8 weeks! Plus, I suddenly crave for my own "Shoe room" as Becky Bloomwood calls it, which something I will work on, no matter what he said.

Today, even without malls, I still managed to do my own window shopping, through internet la, of course. And here goes this year wish list so far:

1. iPod Touch

2. LV Damier Azur Speedy 30 or LV Monogram Mini Lin Croisette Speedy 30

Perfect

R0010206

It was the holiday I've been waiting for since forever! It was a perfect timing too, now that I'm done with the dreadful exam! Thank God!

Singapore, as I remembered, was amazing. I love every inch of it.

Although, there were a few unexpected incidents happened during the first few hours of the arrival. We reached Singapore 2 hours earlier, 4am to be exact. So we took a nap until 7am at the lobby of the hotel nearby before heading to our hotel.

We arrived at the hotel at 8, only to find out how filthy the room was. We immediately got online to find cheaper and better rooms that we can get for such short notice. Long story short, after several phone calls, we managed to book rooms for 6 people. The only downside is, we still have to pay half of the room we canceled for.

Since that awful incidents, all we did in Singapore was SHOPPING! We painted the town red until none of us could even walk anymore! We were lucky to arrive on the day they started their Christmas sale. Hence, everything was so affordable even in Singapore dollar, no kidding! And I was more than happy to pay for my first Guess Premium jeans, with 70% off! Shut up!

Only on the very last day, I realized I’ve packed an extra suitcase worth of stuff! But I was having the greatest time there, that what counts right?

Three days ago

Wednesday

Things started to 'heat up' today when bank user handed over an error in the system that required an immediate fix. While I was still in training and pretty much unprepared, I got no choice but to think of any possible solution to amend it. I didn't even know where to start! Shamefully, I failed to deliver the task and only God knows how terrible that made me feel. I must have underestimated the job, which something I should be concerned of now. I mean, how could I manage to support and maintain the solution for the next six months alone. A-L-O-N-E!

I hate myself!

Thursday

I screwed up my JPJ test. Bahagian tapak!

Friday

I went out for another shopping trip. Found nothing fancy to buy. Later that evening, I accidentally tried on a pig linen shoes. Stupid salesgirl forgot to label them! Then, on the way to Cineleisure, I saw someone with the Anya's bag. Envy!

The only highlight from these three miserable days is watching Transformers, which finally happening after three weeks of Friday outings. But it was so worth it!

I missed it!

iTunes: Umbrella - Rihanna featuring Jay Z

Since last week, my RSS feed was piled up with news either on iPhone or Anya's I'm Not A Plastic Bag releases. I, on the other hand, couldn't get hold of any of it!

I signed up for the bag since May and sadly I was still on the second list. First listers got the bag, which means that second list doesn't. So, I have to queue as early as 6.30 am to grab it! Well technically, I didn't actually queue for it. I planned to by the way, but my boss chose just the right time to send me to RHB, which is on Thursday. It felt wrong taking mc on my second day there, so I begged my sister to go. Unfortunately for her, waiting outside the store for three hours still didn't pay off. Kesian dia. I received the news by noon, when the unlimited bag was already sold out. Haihhh. At least she tried. Rumor has it that people were already there since 4.00 am! I know, CRAZY!!!!

Hopefully, I'll be ready for iPhone next year, which I have no idea when.

Shopping trip

I woke up today in a shopping mood, so that exactly what I did. The best part was all the favorite stores are having sale right now - Zara, MNG, Topshop, FCUK. Even so, there were like zillions of people in Mid Valley, which spoiled my mood a bit. Queues for fitting rooms, cashiers, restaurant - everywhere, you just can't escape from it!

I thought Topshop dresses and blouses are nice, although the Kate Moss collection is so overrated and overprice! Zara, MNG got the best sale ever and no doubt the crowdest stores among all. Who could ever resist cute dresses for RM45 to RM70!! I went all out trying to find sizes, which were quite plenty! I, however, was most frustrated with FCUK for declaring all the great stuff as non sale items. Even the bag I want was taken away during the sale, as I expected. Benci!

Anyhow, I've already planned for the next shopping trip soon. Can't wait! And hopefully this time I manage to snatch tickets for Transformers!

Up and running

iTunes: Million Faces - Paolo Nutini

I got a job offer in PJ, which I didn't expect and hope to get. For starters, I was interviewed for a different position than the one I applied for. Then, the office is not strategic enough. As I'm still in the process of getting my driving license, my only alternative now is public transport, which from what I heard, is hardly available.

I still attend interviews to get better place, but I doubt there would be any reply anytime soon. Like it or not, I just have to accept that job. The money is good, plus stuff from my list needs to be crossed out ASAP. Like the FCUK bag I was drooling over for months, the MNG skinny jeans, etc. I really need to do this!

By the way, did I mention I'll be dealing with lots and lots of programming? Yes, I realize how impossible that is, but what choice do I have?

Element of cuteness

I'm not a plastic bag

I was surprised to find out that this Anya Hindmarch's I’m Not a Plastic Bag was sold for only 5 pound! Consider murah la kan since it is in fact a Anya Hindmarch bag! It was reportedly sold out within 2 hours of its release. This fashionable shopping bag will be launched in U.S. on June but I have no idea if it's going to be available here anytime soon. Sigh.

Chocolate shoes

Anyway, do these shoes remind you of chocolate? Cute, kan?

So, how?

So I went to the store yesterday. Yes, they're out of stock. But I put my name down on one for u. They'll receive new stock every week. So if u really want the bag, u can take it. SA will call me if the stock has arrived & I'll let u know.

Confuse la.

Someone I recently knew, gave me this news today. So now I might stand a chance to purchase the Damier Azur bag once the new stock arrives. Awesome, right? But should I buy it? It's really, really expensive, you know. Money isn't the problem, I guess, but I wasn't sure about paying a large amount of money just for a bag. Maybe my first month salary wouldn't pay as much as that. Even this morning, when I joked about getting it, my mom totally flipped out! Membazir yang amat, katanya.

Should I snap it up now? If I miss this chance, who knows when I'll have a chance to get it next time!

So, how?

Wish list: Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Speedy

Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Speedy

Haihhh... why la I still can't let this go?

I've never fancied any of the LV collection. But ever since I saw someone wearing the bag last week, I couldn't stop talking about it. I want it so bad. Tak tahan!!! The bag was available in eluxury.com for a few hours last weekend and then vanished. I was later informed that the Damier Azur collection was already released in Malaysia since December and sold out so fast. Kesian tau, saya!

Come to think of it, even if it's still available, I might have to think twice before getting it. Considering that I'm jobless right now, RM2400 would be very very impossible.
