I made a list

Life is plain (which is why I don't update anymore), just like any other day, except that

1. I'm no longer a fan of coffee.

2. Eating KFC makes me burping all night. So I'm avoiding it for now. Damn it!

3. I can no longer fit into most of my clothes. I cannot fit into any of my pants now without leaving the button open and I keep recycling my work attire every week. So frustrating OK!

4. I have to force myself to drink powder milk every single day which tastes like ughhhh.

5. I cannot eat rice after 7 pm. I don't know if this is true yet but I threw up yesterday and the only thing I can put the blame on is the nasi lemak I took for dinner.

6. I prefer fish than chicken. I hope this won't last though.

7. I burp most of the time now, except when I'm shopping. OK, I made that up. But I really didn't when I spent the whole day in the mall today, so what did that tell you?

8. I'm more exhausted than before. Lazier even.

9. I complain more than I used to, now that I have all the above.

10. I'm pregnant!

The Ramen Girl

I don't know why people hate this movie. I love it! I didn't watch the Tampopo, not that I plan to anyway. But who cares if the original one is better!

Anyway, I simply like this movie for two reason: hilarious and the message. The Ramen Girl made me realize how important it is to put all of your heart into your cooking. Otherwise, it won't taste special and bland, just like any other cooking.

Like last week, I cooked my favorite dish (who happened to be his too) and it didn't turn out as I expected it to. I try to put blame on everything - the santan, asam keping, everything! But later after I watched this movie, I soon figured out that it is not because of the ingredient or I did anything differently than before. It's just that I didn't do it wholeheartedly. I did it because he requested for it like non stop since a month ago and I felt bad, so I cook. Whereas when we were couple back then, I cooked with all the love in the world for this man, who travelled 2 hours by train just to see me. So there you go, I am a bad wife!

Today, I make a promise to myself that next time, when I cook for him, I will put all my love and heart to it, no matter what. No matter how tired or lazy I am, I will cook like the ramen girl :).

Forever21 clutch

We were watching Chuck yesterday and so surprise to see the clutch her sister was wearing to her rehearsal dinner!

Yes, it was exactly like the clutch I bought from Forever21. Sebijik OK! Hahahahha... Forever21 must have ripped off that design from some designer clutch that I don't know of! Still, it looks nice on the big screen, don't you think?

Clutch shopping

I desperately need an evening clutch - for weddings and dinners.

I do have one in closet, bought two years ago and I've been wearing it to most weddings that now, it becomes pretty boring. And I did buy the Topshop clutches last month but I don't think it's elegant enough to wear for weddings. They are too casual and leathery (is that even a word?).

I got two weddings to attend this weekend and more to come by the end of the month, so I must get it before Friday at least. How hard could it be right?

I searched for a decent one today at Pavillion, yet the only clutch that suit my taste was a simple black satin clutch by Forever21 priced at 59 bucks. Although it sounds like a plain choice, I bought it still incase I don't have time to find better one by the end of the week. I did saw selection of blink blink wedding clutches at Tangs but my only concern is they seemed too flashy for me. Or is that how wedding clutch supposed to look like? Seriously, I have no idea!

Does anyone know where I can find a decent, beautiful wedding clutch priced below 200?

Anyway, these are clutches I would die to have but of course, exceptionally overpriced.

By the way, I spotted something similar to Anya's at MNG but it's in neon. Very striking!

Redang trip

Wednesday, April 22, 2009 | 1:32 PM

There goes my Wednesday

This was Sunday, when I spent most of the time laying on the beach, nothing to worry. Nothing to do. Nothing to go to.

Today however, I'm back to become workaholic, demotivated and busy. Busy as bee. I have sessions already scheduled til August, 5 reports to be done by end of this week and customers' issues that need to be resolved asap. I have errands to run by weekends, pay my credit cards and do my tax before end of this month. Husband already booked saturday evening for a friend's son birthday party and we have appointment with insurance agent this Friday. A lot of to do list, a lot of things to attend to.

Ok, I'm whiner, I got that. But all of these are too overwhelmed right now that I wish I can still lay on beach with nothing in mind.

Can I do just that?

Off to Redang

After weeks of deadlines, urgent sessions and reports, I desperately need this getaway. Work has driven me insane!

So, I'm off to Redang. Can't wait to lay on beach and think nothing! Adios!

Cover duped

Photobucket

I just discovered that the Elle cover that Whitney and Olivia were fighting their credit for was a total LIE! I bought the back issue today and it looks nothing like the one I saw in The City!

Does this mean, the whole DVF thing is also a blatant lie? Does Whitney even work there?

I'm confused.

Clearing my closet

I need to clear out my closet ASAP. I'm out of space to put all the clothes and I still have pile of unpacked stuff during the German's years that either don't fit anymore or not suitable to wear for my age and weather. Jeans, sweaters, cardigans, turtlenecks, glove, shawl. You name it! By the way, buying a new wardrobe is not an option here, FYI.

Can anyone tell me where I can donate old clothes? They are all in good condition, some even brand new. If you know a place I can drop these junks, preferably near Shah Alam, please kindly inform ok. I tried to google it but so far, still no luck. Help!
