This was Sunday, when I spent most of the time laying on the beach, nothing to worry. Nothing to do. Nothing to go to.
Today however, I'm back to become workaholic, demotivated and busy. Busy as bee. I have sessions already scheduled til August, 5 reports to be done by end of this week and customers' issues that need to be resolved asap. I have errands to run by weekends, pay my credit cards and do my tax before end of this month. Husband already booked saturday evening for a friend's son birthday party and we have appointment with insurance agent this Friday. A lot of to do list, a lot of things to attend to.
Ok, I'm whiner, I got that. But all of these are too overwhelmed right now that I wish I can still lay on beach with nothing in mind.
I'm blogging again, and I got a new layout. Finally.
I am busy this past few months. With the wedding and all. But it's done now so I'm now married to a person I used to hate the most and then, love the most. So, it's basically karma. A good one, of course. Is there such thing as good karma?
Anyway, I love every part of marriage. I'm just lucky, that's the way I put it :D.
I know the wedding was 3 months ago but thank you very much to those who came to the solemnization and reception. I wish I can send each of you a thank you card, but I'm in the middle of tight budget now that my husband keeps track of everything I buy. From shoes to bathroom mats - everything needs to be updated in our iPhone budget tool. As much as I object to jotting down everything I spend, I'm doing my best to make him happy. Plus, we are paying the house soon, so this might help us a bit later. Changes don't always mean bad, right?
By the way, here are some of the moments I would cherish forever. I'm so glad I chose them to capture everything because the photos turned out absolutely perfect! Definitely worth every penny.
It's hot, crowded, noisy and absolute madness! Cows are everywhere - middle of the road, outside the office, construction sites, you name it! And no one dare to honk them! The drivers were like honking to each other but not to the cows. Stupid!
With all the reasons above, I decided to stay home this weekend. Going out means headache and heat and noise and dehydration. Even if this the only chance I got to experience India, so be it. Plus, I'm not planning to get sick so near to my wedding day.
Speaking of wedding, I already settled most of the things before flying to India. Only some minor details left, so mom will take care of those while I'm away. I left the wedding book to her, just incase. Oh yes, I have a wedding book!
Wow, I can't believe it's really going to be a wedding! In 13 days! I'm super excited OK! Just too bad I have to go through this hell, before I can fly home and marry the man I love.
God knows how much I really need this weekend for myself. I am tired of cleaning up other people's mess all week, I'm tired of trying to cover every people mistakes all the time. This week was HELL! And no one like being cranky all the time. So exhausting! The only person that keep me sane entire day at the office was the person who wasting his precious time taking this awful photo.
So I need this weekend to be just about nothing. Nothing whatsoever to think about. No place that I need to go to. No to do list. Nothing. Just leave me doing whatever I want to do OK?
Now I'm watching Man of The House with dad. So, good day!
My fiancé enjoys Iron Man. Me too. I love Robert Downey Jr. He too. Kan, kan? Hehehe.
The last time I saw him was in Ally McBeal and now I'm head over heel for him again. I mean, who wouldn't? And who would've thought that Pete, the Monica's millionaire boyfriend can produce such awesome movie! I cannot wait for the sequel!
Ok, I know this is so out of my league but still, wish list can be anything right? At least that what my wish list is. Plus, I haven't been updating the list since January so if you ask what I want, I want this.
As some already heard, we purchased a house 3 weeks ago. It all happened in a flash when we decided to put our saving for the deposit of the property and somehow booked the house just after checking it out for the first time. I know, it sounds crazy and insane. But we already looked around other places like Denai Alam, Sunway Kayangan, Setia Alam etc. Nothing can top this one. N-O-T-H-I-N-G. This was like love at the first sight. This is the house we always dream of.
So, numerous loan applications came soon after. After all the hassle, hectic weekends, emergency leaves, anxiety attacks, we finally secured the house. It's ours at last. Haaahhhhhhhhh. I'm so excited, no words can describe. Tunang saya lagi la. Almost everyday talking about how to decorate every single room. Soooo cute OK :P.
Now two months later, I can relax on May. Endlich. For starters, this week I be able get back to wasting my weekends - napping, surfing, watching some movies, finishing through unread RSS, reading some past magazines - and oh my God, I love her closet. Look.
Also, free weekend means getting back to planning the wedding, which I seemed to neglect since the house purchase. Frankly, I didn't do much since a month ago. But what's the rush? I have 6 solid months OK!
Kau adalah darahku Kau adalah jantungku Kau adalah hidupku Lengkapi diriku Oh sayangku, kau begitu Sempurna
I believe it all started when he told me that he already informed his parents about his plan to marry me. The news came as surprise to me since he has never purposed the idea at the first place. Ok, he did jokingly ask me a couple of times before and his sudden urge to buy a new house for us but that was it. We had nothing planned whatsoever since that chat and I don't think he could be THAT serious.
The next thing I know, he organized a lunch date for the first time with his parent but that plan was changed to rombongan merisik instead, a few days before the actual day. Besides, the engagement itself supposed to be on April, but that was fast forwarded too, to March 29th. Although I hate the fact that he switched the plans to the very last minute, I can't help giggling when he purposed to have it on my birthday. Oh come on, that's sweet OK.
Since then, everything happened so fast for me to keep track of. Mom was the most excited and busiest person; arranging the catering, hantaran and things that are required for the event. I was just agreeing to everything, to be honest. Well, she's the best and I know whatever things she decided on will turn brilliant.
And he has been a big help too. Even with all the chaos and the last minute plan, I have no complain whatsoever as everything turned out to be the sweetest things he has ever done so far. Nothing can top those three weeks I spent before the engagement.
Syukur alhamdulillah, things ran smoothly on the engagement day. It was sunny and bright all day, the food was delicious, the crowds were amazing and supportive and the whole event was a total blast. Love it, love it, love it.
And now that we are happily engaged, I'm so looking forward for the next big step with him :P.
And seeing it for the first time here made it even more interesting.
It's the Morning After Mini Bag by Rebecca Minkoff. Sangat, sangat gorgeous ok. And one of the managers owns it. I'm green with envy.
In other news, I'm swamped with work this week. Overwhelming, but in a fun and good way ;P. And from what I heard, right after Chinese New Year, the load will be piling up for us newbies. So, stay tuned!
I've been splurging like there's no tomorrow, this past two months. It didn't occur to me that much, not until I realized I have bought a rack of shoes, totes, tops and pants for less than 8 weeks! Plus, I suddenly crave for my own "Shoe room" as Becky Bloomwood calls it, which something I will work on, no matter what he said.
Today, even without malls, I still managed to do my own window shopping, through internet la, of course. And here goes this year wish list so far:
1. iPod Touch
2. LV Damier Azur Speedy 30 or LV Monogram Mini Lin Croisette Speedy 30
