My friends kept complaining that I'll only update if they asked me to. It's true though. Frankly, I have lots of things I could tell you but I don't think personal stuff is relevant to be said in public. I know the main reason I was writing this at the first place is to let it all out, when things got out of hand. Or when there was no one I could talk certain matter to, except this dead, silent blog. But things are different now and if you know me better, you should have understood that by now.
Anyway sorry for the opening lines.
Sangat poyo! My holiday was great. Well, nothing's perfect but I had a blast! We covered most of main cities in Italy, ate Italian pizzas, spoke broken Italian and slept in an actual tent in Florance. How so impossible was that? Yeah, I know I would be the first to back out but I didn't. Only for a night though so it wasn't that big a deal. Actually, I've been to Italy before but I guess this one was definitely better. Kudos to Fina, Kamil and Hafiz for being so patient with me throughout the trip.
Venizia was amazing as I remembered. I've kept a list in my head so I won't regret this second chance. Thankfully, I made it all. Except the gondola ride which was still too expensive as there were just four of us at the time, ready for a ride. We stayed 2 nights in Venizia and took express train the next day to Milan.
Milan was pretty plain with tons of expensive boutiques. Of course it would be a great place to visit if you got tons of money to spent. Unfortunately, I don't. Damn! I which I'd be like those Italian chicks with rich husbands and do nothing, but shopping! We went to Pisa on our way to Florence just for that
menara condong. It was so funny how we were so not going to take the standard tourist pose at first, but we still shot it anyway.
Poyo je! Sampai sana, terus jadi macam orang tak betul!Spent the least time in Florance since it was raining all day. Yeah, imagine me again at the campsite, this time with raining all night long.
Nasib baik la takde katak! Rome was the last stop and might be my favorite place of the week. I missed tonnes, like I've never stepped foot there before. Colosseum was excellent and Vatican City was huge! I wasn't sure the exact name of other places that we've been to but there were bricks all over the place and horse. Yes, I remember that huge horse! Wait... that's in Milan. But one thing you should know, if you plan to go there next time: When Italians tell you it's a 5 minutes walk, what they really meant was half an hour. I couldn't believe that 5 minutes walk to AC Milan stadium (
pe ntah nama dia) was actually that far. We walked and walked and only 30 minutes later, found the stadium. And if you got the wrong entrance, you might ended up '
tawaf'ing the whole stadium. For a 30 minutes trip, you definitely deserved more than
sekali tawaf. Make it 2 ok.
Ok, now picture time. I've tried not mention him here but since I'm just being a truly honest friend, I credit
Hafiz for all the beautiful shots.
Thank you for your time and if I'm available tomorrow, I'll upload them in my
fotopages.
