From Malaysia to Berlin to School

This was 2 months ago, during the between-life-and-death situation...

But it's all okay now. I scored! So, bless Germany for that. Hopefully there wouldn't be any of this last-chance-repeat paper for next sem and beyond. It was torturing but I learnt my lesson.

So what have I done for the last 2 months? Let see, I returned to Tanah Melayu for only a month, when I scheduled to be there for at least 5 weeks. And just as I was expected to be enjoying a nice family trip to Singapore, my mom got this great news which forced us to cancel the whole trip. I was disappointed but hey, she was excited about the news so there was nothing I could do. I didn't wanna spoil it. I'm happy for her, that's all. But on the bright side, I got to spend the weekend for last min shopping spree. It's been like Christmas all month, I tell ya. I was extremely glad to be home. I really did. And spending money has always been fun until you went home and started to empty your pockets. That's right, nothing! One of those days..

I did watch the AF recaps by the way but it's really old news right now. And of course, movie-of-the-year, Puteri Gunung Ledang. No review from me; you can read it from the experts. Simply marvelous, that's all I can say. To those who slept during the movie, shame on you!

Fyi, I wasn't on the same flight as Anwar as he didn't postpone it til the next day. But anyway, I reached Germany safely. A week later, I visited my best friend in Berlin and now, I'm officially in Heilbronn; counting days before class starts. Not that I'm really counting anyway but really, there was nothing much to do around here.

By the way, Berlin trip was great. Actually better than I expected. It was a 6hr train and Friday was a visit to various historical places; you know castle and stuff. Same goes on Saturday and on Sunday, we have a weird adult talk with Cik Saraya at the embassy which something I less expected to know. On the very last day, there was a window shopping. Well, at least it was supposed to be, until I couldn't face any windows anymore. So really, the budget thingy before this Berlin trip didn't go well as I planned. But hey, I got new stuff to wear this winter. So it wasn't totally wasted.

I have a week to get my mind set for the next big semester and of course the second practical next summer. It's going to be a really busy and boring semester, yet I'm soo looking forward to get up at 8 when it's sure hell freezing outside and the class is up til 6pm! Hah, really not!

But, it's good to be back. Hellloooo fall!
