Logical thinking

iTunes: If The Rain Must Fall - James Morrison

Ok, here's something you should know. I'm not good at programming and if you ask me what's wrong with your computer, I might stare at the ceiling for a few second, pretending to find the answer and after a long awkward pause, I might just say no.

Am I proud of that? No.

Just now, I have a conversation with a close friend, and she said something that I wish I wouldn't care. I know people has an exciting stuff planned for their final thesis. Programming, experimenting, lab work, designing something that they think would be part of future innovation bla bla bla. But, I did none of that. I basically read about something that was discovered the year I was born, write what I read, elaborate in a way I understand it and then, compare it with another thing that was also discovered decades ago. I know, boring! Logic, logic, logic!! But with JPA's extension time frame and the pressure to finish everything as soon as possible so that I could FINALLY go home for good, I took the job. Besides, the professor is so great and flexible that I can settle everything with just a knock on a door. And the read, write thing is totally harmless as no practical work involved, meaning no failed experiment to be fixed in such short notice or possibility to extend the deadline to redo the whole lab work. And programming related stuff can be avoided. There you go!

Although it wasn't my very first choice, I'm pretty much satisfied with what I've decided on. Up until now.

Am I an idiot to be complaining about this??
