It was by far the best 7 days I had this year. Although It did put me into lots of mess to get there, but totally worth it.
I got on the plane Friday morning, reached Rome 1 hr before reuniting with my parents and straight away sightseeing for one whole day. Rome was fascinating but crowded and dirty. There were people everywhere. Mostly tourists, like us. I didn't remember the name of all the buildings and weird sculptures I've been to, but I did stop by at Colosseum for 5 minutes. Well, blame it on Bush for ruining my city tour that day. I couldn't hate that man even more.
Masa aku nak jalan Rome la, dia nak jumpa pope. Really, wrong timing. We reached the city center around noon and police escorts were everywhere. We have limited time for certain places and we didn't even get a chance to grab souvenirs. It's all because of that damn Bush! And I kinda blamed our tour guide a bit. I have no idea what made him in rush but really; it was a tiring day especially for my parents and friends who have been on plane from Malaysia for 24 hrs. Really, mercy peeps! That's all I'm asking.
But the next day was better.
Second day. Most of the time on bus, heading to Venice. There were a few stops at old villages of Orvieto. It looked like those classic Disney villages; Cinderella's, Beauty and the Beast's etc. Old yet stunning.
Out of all, Venice was definitely the best. Amazingly beautiful. Trust me, you really wanna go there. Spent one whole day exploring the city and we did watch the glass-made-products demonstration at Murano Glass Factory. Nice... Nope, I didn't ride the gondola. We took boat instead. It was like 40++ degrees that day and as much as I wanted to have an hour of gondola ride, I just have to go with the majority. Anyway, there will always be another time, InsyaAllah.
Next stop, Florence. One of the most beautiful cities in the world. I love Florence. But just one thing, they got lots tons of naked men sculptures there. Not really a good sight. I didn't even dare to take pics with any of those. Freaking weird!
5th day. We headed to Cannes, where we passed by Monaco. The night scene was awesome. And very glamorous. I couldn't stop
whooaaaa that night. Most of the houses stand on a panoramic terrace, the casino was damn huge, one of their hotels is said to be the most expensive hotel in Europe and there were luxurious cars everywhere!
It was indeed a great night, even though I didn't win anything

.
The last day: I was in Nice. Wasn't as nice as I thought it would be. Nothing special. Just stone beach. Yup, instead of sand beach, theirs are full of stones. And naked chicks.
I took off on Friday with Miss Umie Aida. Yes, she was with me, the entire trip. And I'm not her fan, too bad.
Now,
picture time.
