Just got a sad news from a friend. She told me that our other friends' father died yesterday. I was absolutely astounded when I read the email. Syariza was my classmate for 2 years and She used to live in my neighborhood before she moved to Sarawak last year. If you're reading this, please recite Al-Fatihah to arwah. Danke.
Last Sunday was my batch (alg 3) second anniversary in Germany. Totally forgot to mention that in my last entry. There were no celebration party whatsoever coz everyone's busy with the finals. Anyway, on that same day, new students from ALG 5 arrived in Deutschland. I heard they already in Konstanz right now. Next month, 30 of them will be here in Heilbronn for technical course. I'm not in "MGSS High Committee" (as referred in
mamat's site) so if u wanna know the details, read
here.
I used to stay here for the first 2 weeks in Germany so it brings back lots of memories to see this pic again. I bet everyone in my batch felt the same way. The place was renovated last year but it still looks the same to me. That same old building.
I stepped foot in Deutschland for the first time back in 2002. It was snowing in Frankfurt and so damn cold.
Jakun beb tgk snow. Heh. A bus waiting to take us to Konstanz - Sightseeing - Arrived 5 hrs later - And we stayed in Don Bosco (the pic) for 2 weeks. Everyday, we have to take train at 7am to Radolfzell, about 30mins from Konstanz. It's really a small town and we learned about German culture, lifestyle etc etc. Kinda boring, but there was no homework, no assignment or test. So it was fun! Everyday after class, we went to town, shopping. Sometimes there's nothing to buy at all but we just went anyway.
Makan makan, jalan jalan. Konstanz is really a beautiful stadt. Not too big, just nice. We cooked ourselves most of the night. great memories, I tell you. I don't think juniors are allowed to cook nowadays. Too bad! It was fun cooking and eating together.
Masa tu, masing-masing tunjuk skill. Heheh. Then, half of us went to Reutlingen and the rest went to Albstadt for about 2 months. I was in Reutlingen's group btw. Maybe because of that, I always think Reutlingen as my kampung. Plus, most of my girlfriends live there. Anyway, the minute I moved to Heilbronn and started my first class, was the beginning of a boring life in Germany. Hahahahha.. damn!
